Darren’s weekly props

define-054

I want to give mad props to some of my clients and let them know how proud I am of them for their accomplishments and improvements this week.

Shane for benching 275- I don’t know what planet you’re from, but that was an awesome lift. Try not to knock any more peoples’ teeth out.

Joe for benching 205- That’s a great improvement and benchmark to get to.

Billy for racking up very respectable times on 2 tough WODs(workout of the day) in the same hour after being gone for over a week. Just imagine what you could do if you showed up every day- keep up the intensity.

Rachel B. for having the best time for a female and 2nd best time overall on 4 rounds of 400 meter run and 50 squats. You’re a dynamo girl, I wish all my clients had your energy, self discipline and work ethic.

Rachel S. for digging deep and percevering to the end even when she didn’t think she had anything left in her, during not 1 but 2 challenging WODs this past week. You should be proud of yourself girl.

Marie for working out with a broken toe and a hangover. If only you could apply that same determination to giving up pepsi.

Omar for benching 185- you’ll be at 220 in no time.

Jesica for posting the best time for a female on the 100 pullups/100 pushups/100 situps/100 squats WOD. Actually you did a lot better than plenty of the guys as well. Your positive attitude and personality is an inspiration and a joy to be around. Keep up the good work.

Karen for losing 4 inches around her waist in 6 weeks. That was awesome. Too bad you had to move back to England so soon.

Megan for not missing a single session since she started and being a lot stronger than you give yourself credit for. Woman, you are going to own that firefighter test.

Jon for benching 215- It wasn’t pretty but you did it brotha.

Danimal for getting the best overall times on 3 super hard WODs in the last couple of weeks and benching 205. Also for coming in the day after getting his tooth knocked out in sparring. For someone with terrible flexibility, balance, and coordination, not to mention a chipped tooth, you kicked ass the last couple of weeks.

Kimi for getting respectable times on 2 very challenging workouts, always pushing yourself hard and having a great attitude. Keep up the good work at making Jon look bad.

Geoff for benching 185 and representing Define Fitness at the Scottish Highland games in Portland. Rock that kilt dude.

Seth and his creaky elbows for doing 51 non stop pushups and 10 pullups back to back. Not bad for a guy in his 40’s that eats lucky charms for breakfast.

Ben for clocking great times on the 2 mile run and the 100 pullups/100 pushups/100 situps/100 squats WOD. Now all you have to do is learn to cook for yourself.

Jonathan for surprising me with a couple of good times on his workouts even though he made it look like it was going to kill him.  More water and sleep, less coffee bro.

I think that’s it for this week. We’ll see who steps up their A-game next week. I’ll post the specific times for the WODs later this week.
